How we check availability

The data

Every title's availability comes from licensed streaming data (JustWatch, via TMDB) covering 30 Netflix markets — not from scraping, forum posts, or guesswork. We currently track 1191 titles and add more as people search for them.

The daily check

Once a day, we re-pull availability for every tracked title and compare it against the previous day's snapshot. Any difference — a title appearing in a catalog, or disappearing from one — is recorded with its date and country. That's what powers the "last verified" date on every page, thenew arrivals list, and theleaving soon page.

Why answers differ by country

Netflix licenses most non-original content market by market, so the same series can be a "yes" in the United Kingdom and a "no" in the United States on the same day. That's why every answer on this site is per-country, and why a page's verdict can legitimately change overnight when a licensing window opens or closes.

Mistakes

If a page shows something different from what you see in your Netflix app, the licensing data may be lagging a recent change — it usually corrects within a day or two. The "last verified" date on each page tells you exactly how fresh its answer is.
